Description
Roosevelt & Fairbanks: E Pluribus Unum Jugate. Most unusual 2 1/4" jugate with cardboard back (suspended from ribbon at one time, now missing). Titled "E Pluribus Unum", the design elements include an eagle with outstretched wings, crossed flags, a shield, a wreath and portraits of the Republican nominees. Some faint moisture marks in the background and minor lamination issues. Likely made by a minor button manufacturer in Pennsylvania, perhaps Reading Badge, which accounts for its rarity.Auction Info
