Sumptuous three-quarter green morocco over marbled boards with gilt titles and rules and five raised spine bands. Top edges gilt, others uncut. Marbled endpapers. Some shelf wear, with rubbed corners. Spines a touch darkened. Volumes one, two and four each have varying degrees of splitting to the joints. Front hinge of volume one just starting. Short tear to front cover spine leather of volume two; front board halfway detached; light ink staining to rear flyleaves. Front hinge of volume four cracked at the limitation page. Very good.
