The Second World War. London: Cassell & Co., [1948-1954]. First British edition. Complete six-volume set. Publisher's black cloth, stamped in gilt on spines. Red topstain. Original dust jackets. Some boards very slightly bowed with some corners bumped, Volume Five spine slightly cocked, varying degrees of fading to top stains, mild foxing to page edges. Jacket edges rubbed, some volumes with minor closed tears and a hint of gentle interior creasing, some spines lightly faded. Very Good.
