Text in English. Quarto. Approximately 11.5 x 8 inches. 126 pages (text and page numbers on rectos only). With several leaves of photocopied photographs of the Beatles inserted throughout. With Petitfaux' handwritten ownership inscription on the first blank page. Bound in contemporary half brown morocco over brown cloth (a store-bought binder). Some rubbing, minor soiling to binding, binder manufacturer's stickers on rear pastedown. Still, a near fine item (it is unclear if there are more than one copy of this thesis extant - this could be the only one). Dominique Petitfaux is a French historian and critic who specializes in comics. He is also a long-time member of the British Beatles Fan Club.
