Garth Williams. Illustration #17, Charlotte's Web.Garth Williams. Original preliminary drawings for illustration #17 (appearing on page 59) of Charlotte's Web, 1952: Wilbur flying, with Templeton's help. Pencil on paper. Three sheets measuring 10.875 x 8.5 inches (two of which are in landscape format), and one sheet torn in half (featuring only Templeton) measuring approximately 5.5 x 8.5 inches. Each sheet initialed by Williams in lower right. Fine. From the Estate of Garth Williams.
