edition of Wells' first novel, first issue in cloth binding.
Octavo. [viii], [152] pages. With the earliest version of the
publisher's sixteen-page catalogue inserted at rear. Publisher's
full tan cloth, covers and spine stamped in purple. Spine very
lightly browned, some foxing to endleaves. Slightly skewed. An
excellent copy of this book, hardly ever seen in condition this
