Publisher's full brown morocco with decorative embossing and titles in gilt. Marbled endpapers with pockets at rear of each volume. All edges gilt. Lightly rubbed extremities with some lightening to edges. Minor scuffing. Mild toning with offsetting to endpapers. Engraved frontispieces. Title pages with tissue guards. Three folding maps. An attractive, very good set of Stanley's great adventure across the dark continent.
