Contemporary full calf with tooled covers and raised bands on spine. Spine tooled in gilt with morocco spine label. Binding previously restored with portions of leather on front and rear boards renewed. Spine worn, with small leather segments missing. Scattered neat underlining and occasional minor marginalia. Printer's device title page, verso final leaf. Tiny wormhole on title page extending for a few pages, not affecting text. Upper corner of front free endpaper replaced. Overall, a very good copy.
