Description

[Benjamin Franklin]. Legal Contract. One partially-printed page, 7.5" x 12", [Philadelphia], September 3, 1766. In a document "Printed by B. Franklin, and D. Hall," David Caile binds himself to Thomas Middleton "in the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds Lawful Money of New Jersey." Folds have detached, but have been repaired on the verso, leaving adhesive ghosting on the recto.
