Description

William L. Garrison Signed Quotation. 4" x 2.25", Boston, January 15, 1873. The abolitionist signs on lined paper in black ink: "Liberty for each, for all, and forever!" and signs "Wm Lloyd Garrison". Garrison (1805-1879) was known to be an extremist who was extraordinarily persistent; he founded the abolitionist newspaper "The Liberator" and the New England Anti-Slavery Society. Toned edges.
