[Martin Luther King Jr.]. Poor People's Campaign Pamphlet and Forms. Folded down to an overall size of 3.75" x 8.5", Atlanta, circa March 1968. Organized by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. shortly before his assassination, the demonstration, where the "poor people of America will demand decent jobs and income . . . in our nation's capital," was carried out despite Dr. King's absence. The forms (two copies) were issued after the death of King and pleads for hospitality from the citizens of Norfolk, Virginia, to those arriving to participate in the march.
