Description
Henry Knox Autograph Document Signed "H. Knox." One page, 7.75" x 4.75", Thomaston, October 30, 1804, to Mr. Elisha Summer. The former Continental Army officer and first Secretary of War authors a payment document which reads in full:"Pay to James Littlehale or order One hundred dollars value received and charge the sume [sic] to my account without further advice from H. Knox".
The ADS is accompanied by an engraved portrait of Knox in his uniform. The document is uniformly toned with the usual fold creases, yet it remains bright, legible and in very good condition.
