Description
Colt Model 1877 "Storekeeper" Lightning Double Action Revolver. Serial number obliterated from frame, triggerguard and butt. .38 caliber, 3 1/2-inch barrel with two-line Hartford address. Frame once nickel finished, is now grey metal. Gripstrap assembly blued. Double action. Checkered factory hard rubber bird's head grips with Rampant Colt logo at top. Condition: Fair to good. Barrel, cylinder and frame showing a mottled grey-brown age patina with minor spots of fine pitting. Gripstrap with strong traces of blue remaining. Grips showing wear to relief edges. Action needs work as trigger doesn't cycle independently.Auction Info
