Lot of Three Military Bolt Action Rifles. Comprising: 1) German Model 1891 Artillery Carbine. Serial no. 8636b, 7.92 x 57 caliber, 17 ¼-inch barrel with standard military sights. Blued; receiver and bolt in the white. All visible numbers matching. Straight stock with Imperial German proofs. Stacking hook has been removed. 2) Austrian Model 1895 Mannlicher Bolt Action Short Rifle. Serial no. 1053E, 8 x 56R caliber, 19-inch barrel with fixed front and adjustable rear sights. Blued; bolt in the white. All visible numbers matching. Steyr maker's mark on the top of the receiver. Cut down stock with single band and two sling swivels. 3) Italian Model 91/38 Cavalry Carbine. Serial no. QZ7004, 6.5 caliber, 17 ½-inch barrel with fixed sights and folding bayonet. Blued; bolt in the white. Hardwood stock. GARDONE Arsenal. U.S. veteran pick up with interesting inscription scratched on the left side of the magazine: "Milton L. Reiman 19075827 Africa 1943 - 43rd Service Group AAF".
Condition: 1) Excellent. Retaining approximately 95-99% finish. Stock has been lightly sanded. Mechanically sound and with a bright, clean bore. 2) Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish. Stock cut down, as noted, and with scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically sound with a bright bore. 3) Very good. Mechanically sound with a bright bore.
