Description
Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 162866, .25-20 W.C.F. caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1898.Condition: Good. Finish primarily a brownish grey age patina with noticeable wear and surface rust. Wood showing scuffs, dings and bruises, very minor wood loss to edges and a 2 1/2-inch crack to left side of fore-end. Action crisp. Dark bore.
