Colt Model 1877 Lightning Double Action Revolver. Serial no. 123217 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .38 Colt caliber, 4 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and two-line Hartford address. Three-line, three-date patent with Rampant Colt. Blued finish. Case-hardened frame. Checkered hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1901.Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with thinning at the relief edges and backstrap. Scattered handling wear and scratches. Checkering in grips worn in places. Action is good. Bright bore.
