Description
U.S. Springfield Model 1879 Trapdoor Rifle. Serial no. 136089, .45-70 caliber, 32 ½-inch round barrel with fixed front and adjustable rear sights. Walnut stock with two barrel bands, sling and stacking swivels, curved steel buttplate and cleaning rod.Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish. Stock showing no cartouches and with a small chip at the front of the lock. Mechanically crisp. Clean bore.
