Description
Circa 1850 American .44 Caliber Percussion Single Shot Pistol. 10" overall with a 6 1/8" octagon rifled barrel, open rear sight, dovetailed German silver front sight, German silver panel inlayed on the top flat and around the muzzle. All iron smooth and dark with some minor pitting at the nipple and a few areas of minor salt and peppering. Unsigned back action lock. All fittings and inlays are German silver and in excellent condition. Curly maple stock showing cracks in the grip, a repair behind the hammer and a small area of wood fill at the thumb rest.Auction Info
