Colt Lightning Medium Frame Slide Action Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 26700, .44 caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed front and sight and rear adjustable sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Case-hardened hammer. Smooth figured walnut stock and checkered fore-end. Metal carbine butt. Manufactured in 1888.Condition: Fine. Retaining approximately 75-80% finish with scattered handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Wood showing light scuffs and dings. Action crisp. Mirror bright bore.
