Pair of Philadelphia Percussion Single-Shot Percussion Deringers by Henry Deringer, Together with Associated Case and Accoutrements. ..41 caliber, 4-inch barrels with faux damascus finish. Dovetailed German silver front sights. Steel under-ribs. German silver bands at breech. Breeches marked: Deringer/Philada. Left barrel facets with letter P. Floral engraved upper tangs, lockplates and hammers. German silver wrist escutcheons engraved in floral scrolls. Engraved German silver fore-end caps; wedge escutcheons; triggerguards; counterplates and pommel caps. Cap reservoirs in butts. Checkered walnut stocks. Wood ramrods with brass caps. Both deringers contained in associated partitioned and keyed mahogany case with brass lock and lid escutcheon; together with single cavity steel bullet mold; smooth pattern small brass powder flask; brass rammer; japanned small Eley cap tin and ball supply. Condition: Deringers: Both are excellent with light handling and storage wear with minor spotting on under ribs.. Wood with minor dents and blemishes. Accoutrements are all good to very good with age wear and patina. Case relined and possibly reconfigured. Exterior with light wear and marks present.
