LeMat Second Model Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 812 (barrel and release latch), .42/.63 percussion caliber/ 6 1/2-inch and 5-inch barrels. Address reads: Col. LeMat Bte s.g.d.g. Paris. Right side of barrel flat at breech marked with LeMat logo: 814[star]/L.M. 9-shot cylinder which is marked 114. Pivoting hammer nose. Blued finish with case-hardened hammer. Round trigger guard. Frame, hammer and gripstrap with original decorated screws. Checkered walnut grips with original engraved screw and fastener. Steel butt cap with integral lanyard loop. Condition: Good. Scattered patches of fine pitting. Loading lever is a fine modern replacement. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
