Description
English Flintlock Pistol by Tow. Approximately .54 caliber, 9-inch octagonal barrel marked: LONDON. London proofs on left side of barrel near breech. Lockplate marked: TOW. Acorn figured triggerguard assembly. Lightly engraved steel furniture, screws and sideplate. Lightly figured walnut stocks. Wooden ramrod. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.Condition: Good to very good. Overall smooth gray patina with patches of pitting and surface rust. Wood good with numerous dings and scratches. Small cracks and 2-inch repair on left side near muzzle and ramrod. Replaced ramrod. Mechanically sound. Bore ok, needs cleaning.
