Clarke's signed bookplate mounted to the half-title page. Inscribed to Jerry Weist and David Kyle by Clarke's nephew Fred "in memory of your visit to Dene Court." Also enthusiastically inscribed by David Kyle to Jerry Weist recounting their several days in England doing research for Weist's projected pictorial biography of Clarke. Laid in throughout are several pages of notes by Weist on hotel stationery. Includes both American and British dust jackets (British jacket shown in photo). Fine. David A. Kyle, co-founder of Gnome Press, sci-fi writer, and super fan, was born in 1919 and was one of the genre's earliest fans.
