Robert E. Howard. Skull-Face and Others. Sauk City: Arkham House, 1946. First edition. Octavo. xxvi, 474 pages. 3,000 copies printed. Publisher's black cloth over boards. Gilt designs and lettering to spine. Tipped in is an original unsigned drawing in pencil of Hannes Bok's the Fox Woman, likely an early preliminary version by Bok himself. A bright and crisp dust jacket with a tiny closed tear at the edge of the rear panel and some damp-staining to a portion of the back flap. Some rubbing to the edges of the boards.
