William Hope Hodgson. The House on the Borderland. London: Chapman and Hall, Ltd., 1908. First edition. Octavo. [i-xiv, first leaf is a blank preceding the half title page], [1]-300, [4, advertisements] pages. Publisher's red cloth with the front panel stamped in gilt and blind and the spine panel stamped in gilt. Minor wear and soiling to boards, which are a bit dust-stained, with the gilt somewhat faded. Small circular stain to front board. Spine lightly dulled and puckered. Scattered minor foxing. Red inked name to front pastedown. Small red paper remnants on rear endpapers. Very good.
