Spencer Repeating Carbine. Unserialized. .52 caliber rimfire, 22-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Top of breech marked SPENCER REPEATING/RIFLE CO. BOSTON, MASS./PAT'D MARCH 6, 1860. Sling ring bar and ring on the left side. Single barrel band and single sling swivel on the butt. Walnut stock and fore-end.Condition: Good. The metal has a smooth mottled brown/grey finish with some light surface rust. Stock with moderate wear. Mechanically crisp. Bore shows frosting and some pitting..
