This unpublished painting was recorded by Hulda Bonestell on her card file #M-116, and was #9 in an album of slides of unpublished Bonestell paintings, and is described as follows: "Hypothetical planet orbiting the double star Beta Lyrae, which has a unique spiral envelope of hydrogen. The intense heat of the binary has made the surface of the planet molten." Special thanks to Bonestell scholar Melvin H. Schuetz for this information. From the Jerry Weist Collection.


More Information: Visually in very good condition. Not examined outside of frame. Framed under glass to an overall size of 27 x 37 inches.
