Description
Allen's Patent Pepperbox Pistol. No visible serial numbers, .32 caliber (exact bore unknown), 4-inch barrels with flat barrel ribs. Engraved nipple shield and frame. Left side of hammer marked ALLEN'S PATENT, barrel marked PATENTED 1837 CAST STEEL. Walnut grips with single screw. Condition: Good. Metal surfaces with an overall brown patina with scattered spotting and surface pitting. Powder pitting on the hammer and nipples. Right grip panel chipped at the screw head. Action needs adjustment.
