Description

Declaration Signer Caesar Rodney Signature clipped from close of document, 3.75" x 4", February 2, 1767. Rodney was not only a signer of the Declaration of Independence as a representative of Delaware but also a member of the Continental Congress from 1774-1776 and 1778, as well as the President of Delaware during the American Revolution. Good condition, early tape mend affects signature only slightly. From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
