Two Capture of Jefferson Davis Cartes de Visite. Two whimsical CDVs depicting the capture of Jefferson Davis (1808-1889) by Union troops near Irwinville, Georgia. As ever, Jeff is shown dressed in a woman's hoopskirt dress, perpetuating the myth surrounding his capture. Both CDVs are slightly faded and toned with age but the images are still clear.Auction Info
