U.S. Flag Flown in Space Aboard Apollo 7, 6" x 3.75", affixed to a 13.5" x 10.75" mat with the Apollo 7 patch. Matted with two color photos (launch, crew), a card bearing badly dampstained signatures "Wally Schirra," "Donn Eisele," and "Walt Cunningham," and a 7" x 2" card printed "This Flag Flew on Apollo 7/ The First Manned Apollo Space Flight/ October 11-22, 1968." Framed to 15" x 12". Accompanied by a one page, 8" x 10.5", Typed Letter Signed "Donn Eisele," to Joe Garino, stating "This flag flew on Apollo VII on the first manned Apollo Space Flight..." From the collection of renowned former physical trainer of the astronauts Joe Garino. This lot is accompanied by a signed certificate of authentication from Garino verifying its provenance.Auction Info
