Description
American Percussion "Buggy Pistol," Circa 1850. 26.25" overall with round, 20.5", .60 caliber rifled barrel. Bead front sight, no rear sight. Unmarked, single screw, scroll engraved lock and hammer. Plain iron trigger guard, no butt cap. Superb untouched condition. All metal perfect with smooth gray/brown patina. Walnut stock also perfect with nice patina. Mechanically perfect, perfect bore. Original brass tipped, shotgun style hickory ramrod. A uniquely American form.Auction Info
