World War I: 147th Aero Squadron Sterling Silver Pin. 1", pin-back, the back is marked "Sterling". The silver pin depicts a rat terrier. The 147th was a pursuit squadron engaged in the Chateau-Thierry, St. Mihiel, and Meuse-Argonne offensives. The 147th fought 102 engagements with 31 victories. Very fine.
