Lithograph: "Surrender of Cornwallis." New York: J. Baillis, 1845. 13" x 9.75". Hand-colored lithographed subtitled, "At Yorktown, Virginia, Oct. 19, 1781; By Which Over 7000 British & Hessians Became Prisoners" and showing General Cornwallis handing his sword to General Washington. Important American and British officers are labeled, as well as the "French Fleet" in the distance and "Redoubts at Yorktown." The colors are faded, yet still very good. Toned.Auction Info
