Harry S. Truman: Typed Letter Signed as President. 7" x 9", one page, on White House letterhead, November 12, 1947, Washington, D. C. Truman writes to his old friend Judge Brown Harris back in Missouri, in part, "It takes a long time for people to find out just exactly what the trouble is but I think they are learning like the people in Jackson County, Missouri learned a long time ago that the objective of the President is the public's interest."
