Franklin D. Roosevelt Autograph Letter Signed "FDR" as Assistant Secretary of the Navy. One page, 4" x 6", [Washington, D.C.], circa 1913-1920. In this undated memo FDR writes concerning acquisition of property for the U.S. Navy: "Solicitor Of course we want in time to get this land & it would be good to get it now, but this is a matter which the Sec'y must decide as it is late in the year to ask more money FDR". Paper slightly toned with a central vertical and horizontal fold crease, else very good.Auction Info
