Description
Painting: Hunter Wood, "Full Rigged Ship 'Tamar'". Watercolor, 15" x 11", signed lower right corner. The painting shows the Tamar at full sail on an open sea. The watercolor has the original French matte with hand-lettering that reads, "The Full Rigged Ship 'Tamar'", "2,112 Tons", and "Built by Sir Thomas Devitt". Also with the painting is the original sales label from Harry F. Marks Galleries and Bookshop, New York. Light soiling to the painting and toning to the mat, else very fine.Auction Info
