Dine with Mercury Astronaut Scott Carpenter. Share an unforgettable evening with Mercury 7 astronaut and second man to orbit the Earth, Scott Carpenter. You and a guest will enjoy dinner with Carpenter at an upscale restaurant in either Florida or Colorado.During the evening, Carpenter will share with you stories of his adventures exploring inner and outer space as both an astronaut and an aquanaut. Carpenter will be happy to answer you and your guests' questions about the depths of space and sea.
The actual date of the experience, not to exceed one year after the close of the auction, will be determined by the above astronaut's schedule. ASF rep will accompany the astronaut. ASF reserves the right to disqualify the high bidder, to reject the high bid, and to accept a bid from a lower bidder, for any reason within their discretion, which shall be exercised in good faith. The winning bidder of this experience may be required to submit proof of identity and be subject to a background check. Hold harmless agreement required.
This lot has been consigned by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. The proceeds will benefit this non-profit organization.
