SCUBA Dive or Snorkel with Charlie Duke in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The winning bidder of this Astronaut Experience, benefiting the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, will join Apollo 16 Moonwalker Astronaut Charlie Duke on an undersea adventure! You and a guest will SCUBA dive or snorkel with Duke on a Blue Adventures dive boat off the beautiful coast of Cabo San Lucas. Together you will explore where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean and likely come in contact with Sea Lions, White Tip Reef sharks, Guitar Fish, Eagle Rays, Grouper, Puffer Fish, schools of Sturgeon, and more! Depending on the time of year, you may even get a glimpse of a whale!After a day of diving, you will join Duke for an authentic Mexican dinner where you can discuss the day's discoveries and his experience walking on the moon 36 years ago. At the end of the evening, you will bid farewell to your space hero and retire to your hotel for a good night's sleep (one night accommodation is included).

Auction lot does not include scuba certification (required), equipment purchase or rental, but does include tank rental. Transportation to and from the experience is not included. The actual date of the event, not to exceed one year after the close of the auction, will be determined by the above astronaut's schedule. An ASF rep will accompany the astronaut on this experience. ASF reserves the right to disqualify the high bidder, to reject the high bid, and to accept a bid from a lower bidder, for any reason within their discretion, which shall be exercised in good faith. The winning bidder of this experience may be required to submit proof of identity and be subject to a background check. Hold harmless agreement required.
This lot has been consigned by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. The proceeds will benefit this non-profit organization.
