A Stunning Display of Silver Robbins Medallions.

Skylab 2, Skylab 3, Skylab 4 (Unflown), and Apollo-Soyuz Test Project Flown Silver Robbins Medallions from the Personal Collection of Astronaut James Lovell. Beautifully suspended in an 8" x 3" x 1" piece of Lucite are four sterling silver medals; included is a wooden display stand. These flown medallions are among the scarcest of the entire Robbins series and also spent the most time in space. Excellent condition. The individual medals are as follows:
Skylab 2 (SLM-1)- Serial number F 25. One of only fifty flown.
Skylab 3 (SLM-2)- Serial number 013 F. One of only fifty flown.
Skylab 4 (SLM-3)- Serial number 129. One of one hundred twenty not flown.
Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP)- Serial number 84F. One of ninety-three flown.

This lot includes a signed Letter of Authenticity from Lovell on his letterhead stating: "I hereby certify that these Skylab 2, Skylab 3, Skylab 4 and Apollo-Soyuz Test Project Silver Robbins Medallion are from my personal collection of space artifacts. All of the medals were flown on the respective flights other than the Skylab 4 medallion which was not flown."
