Apollo 15 Robbins Silver Medallion, presented to Joe Garino by Jim Irwin. New medallions had to be struck because the 127 medallions flown had the mission's landing site, Hadley-Apennine, spelled with two "p"s. This medal, with Apennine spelled correctly, is numbered 157 (of medallions numbered 128 to 304) and was not flown. From the collection of renowned former physical trainer of the astronauts Joe Garino. This lot is accompanied by a signed certificate of authentication from Garino verifying its provenance.Auction Info
