Description
Rare George Washington Inaugural Button Variant, With Wider Space Between "G" and "W". This is Albert WI 11-C, the only one of the five similar designs with this spacing. He gives it a high R-5 rating for scarcity. Just a little porosity to the surface on this example, and a very, very shallow indentation in the lower field. Moderate, even wear, but all devices very clear, and a pleasing dark chocolate patination. Original shank on reverse. Diameter 34mm.Auction Info
