Description

First woman to run for president! Cabinet card of "Victoria Claflin Woodhull, now Mrs. John Biddulph Martin." Published in London by Vander Weyde. Woodhull ran for President in 1872 on the Equal Rights Party with Frederick Douglass as her running mate. She voted in that election and went to jail rather than pay the $1 fine. Excellent condition.
