Lee Carte de Visite Signed The great general is seen wearing a light suit and hat with knee-high riding boots in this 2.5" x 4" photograph of a postbellum drawing, standing beside his constant companion, Traveller. The scene is probably of Rockbridge Baths, Virginia, a favorite haunt of the pair while Lee was president of Washington College in Lexington, Virginia, after the war.
