William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody and Jordan B. Cottle, Chicago, Real Photo Postcard, Circa 1908. A black-and-white real photo postcard measuring 5.75" x 3.5" of Cody and Cottle seated in a car outside of Cottle's Chicago residence. J.B. Cottle, like so many young men of his time, succumbed to the lure of the American West and left his comfortable Chicago surroundings to try his hand at being a cowboy and cattle puncher. In the late 1890s he met Buffalo Bill and by 1898 was touring with the show as an "American Cowboy" and member of the "Wild Bunch". He toured off and on with the show until about 1907 when he returned to Chicago and became the President of the Central Hyde Park Bank. Cody once inscribed a photograph to Cottle "To J.B. Cottle, the only cowboy I know who ever had money." No photographer or studio marks present. The image remains sharp and in excellent condition with a small area of loss at the lower left corner.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
