One page, 8.5" x 11", on Pawnee Bill Oil and Refinery Company letterhead, Yale, Oklahoma, March 21, 1923 to "Mrs. Coulon". The letter reads in full: "My Dear Mrs. Coulon, If you have any difficulty in having the pasture fenced you may do so and mail bill to me and I will pay it. In addition to his stint as a wild west impresario, Lillie dabbled in real estate, banking, movie making and the oil business. In was in his capacity as President of the oil company that bore his name, that Bill writes, presumably to a neighboring land owner, to assure that he will pay for fencing pasture land.
