    S. C. Gallup Saddle Company of Pueblo, Colorado: Vintage Matched Holster and Gun Belt, Circa 1890-1910. A curved double loop holster for a 5½" Colt SAA .41 caliber pistol and matched belt. The holster has a stitched toe that is stitched to the back-flap. The single strap belt measures from 32" at the smallest up to 35" at the largest. There are cartridge loops for thirty-six individual .41 caliber rounds. The top loop of the holster is stamped "S. C. Gallup Sadl. Co. Pueblo" and "22". The 2¼" belt is similarly marked and shows honest wear and very minor cracking. Samuel Caldwell Gallup was a well known saddle maker from the 1860s until he died in November of 1904. His company continued until it closed in 1924. Both belt and holster have a lovely dark patina.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
