    Description

Rare Pair of Western Cowboy Boots by_______& Son.____ with A Pair of Mexican Amozoc Spurs and Basketweave Tooled Straps. The rare pair of 19th century "Stovepipe" black leather cowboy boots with bootstraps and extended front tops. Cuban style heels. Mounted with a pair of unmarked Mexican Amazoc spurs with heavy roped bands stamped with tiny floral blossoms. Bands terminate with rings to which are attached swinging strap buttons. Relatively straight shanks with 12-point rowels, the outer pin finial in the shape of an acorn. Outer strap buttons are 8-petaled rosettes. Commercial basketweave stamped straps with steel buckles and outer button straps held in place by scalloped edge leather rosettes with leather ties. Condition: Good. Boots showing heavy wear to soles and heels with tops showing wear and scuffs. Spur straps also showing wear, similar to that on boots. A "real" pair of cowboy worn boots...an item that normally never survives. Spurs are good with light wear overall.
