    Description

    Rare Mexico City Wells Fargo & Co.'s Express Presentation Cane. The gold-plated tau-handled gentleman's cane, profusely engraved in floral scrolls. Right side panel with presentation inscription reading: From Employees/of Wells Fargo & Co's/Express/City of Mexico. Front panel engraved with three letter monogram in script. Back panel with date 1890 in script. Ebony shaft. Steel tip. Overall length: 33 1/2-inches. An important Wells Fargo item needing further research. Probably given to the president or senior officer at the Wells Fargo bank in Mexico City.
    Condition: Excellent with light wear and patina present.
