    Original James Traver large Photograph Cheyenne Chief ca 1911. This image from the town of Webster City, Iowa. Blind stamped lower right corner (Traver, Webster city, Ia.) taken by James Traver, was one of many photographs taken by him. This photograph was taken in 1911 when the Cody (Buffalo Bill) show appeared in this small town. During his photograph journey at the Wild West Show Traver secured a number of excellent photographs of Buffalo Bill on foot and mounted on his favorite pony, photos of buffalo herd's, groups of cowboy's, and many other interesting scenes of the west. This image mounted on large card of Native family, with Indian outfits and standing in front of Tee-Pee, small child is wearing Indian chief Head Dress. Image measures approximately 7" x 10". Mount measures approximately 11.25" x 15.5"

    Condition: Very fine, mount has water damage bottom
